There is no doubt in my mind that Picante is hot stuff when it comes to executing a winning strategy that produces tangible results. Picante has the team and the talent to deliver on what
they commit to - on time and on budget. Picante comes in spicy and mild - in combinations
to suit any taste. As a communicator I couldn’t be more pleased with my whole experience with Picante. I’ve come to learn through experience that Picante is just the
way I like it. When it
comes to developing and executing a creative campaign that folks remember, make mine Picante!
I spell success p-i-c-a-n-t-e and even though their work is hot, their rates don’t upset my stomach or give me heartburn.”

Massage Therapy is an emerging health profession in our province and it was looking for an advertising agency that could create an impact campaign, on a limited budget, that got public attention and the attention of its members. The creative team at Picante Advertising did just that for the MTAM and we ended up with an award winning campaign that built the confidence of our members who then invested more of their resources in our new communication plan. Our relationship with Picante is professional and they have become part of our team at the MTAM. We value their creative and practical guidance as we venture forward in the sometimes overwhelming world of communication and marketing. George Fraser BA, CAE

We are very pleased with the fresh concept development and vibrant ideas Picante has come through for our student recruiting campaign. They were definitely able to “get it” and deliver with a touch of spice!

For the past fourteen years I have had the pleasure of working professionally with Laura Hawkins, principal of Picante Advertising.
I worked with Laura as our agency of record first, with Glennie Stamnes and then with TRAFFiC Advertising. In both agencies Laura maintained principal status and led a fine team of creative individuals on our huge Power Smart* campaigns. Her agency also floated over to work with our corporate (Public Affairs) side, which was in itself extremely flattering that their work transcended both a corporate and marketing approach.
As a crown corporation, our company can be prone to changes, with a timeline to daunt even the most seasoned marketing professional. Laura and her team arose to each and every occasion and provided meaningful and effective strategies that led to successful and often award-winning campaigns. The return on our investment with Laura Hawkins has been a good one.
On a personal note, she is terrific team leader and a gracious woman. I would look no further. She's your man.

Thanks to Picante, our Leisure On-Line campaign is an amazing success. They managed to create rapport between the City of Winnipeg and its citizens and still gave our ads the punch needed in a competitive environment. Our snappy creative gave us a unique edge.

Laura and I have worked together in the marketing and advertising field for many years. When I first came to Winnipeg from the Maritimes over 10 years ago, she was a great resource on the local advertising scene and a fabulous ambassador for the city and the province.
Marketing for malls can be a difficult task. Finding a new look and new ways to differentiate from the competition each year can be challenge. Picante Advertising, without a doubt, met that challenge. Their creative team, headed by Laura Hawkins, continually created innovative and engaging concepts to meet our needs.
Laura is “hands on” leader who surrounds herself with enthusiastic and passionate people. Picante always approaches a project as a team but nothing leaves the agency office without Laura’s stamp of approval and one last look at the fine print.

Laura Hawkins has been leading the strategic planning committee for Saskatchewan Credit Unions for the past 8 years. Laura has an uncanny ability to combine a sophisticated marketing savvy with common sense thinking and has developed plans with clearly defined objectives solved with thoughtful and exciting creative executions.
Following extensive research this past year, our committee made a significant adjustment to our marketing objectives and Laura was able to respond with an innovative solution that hit the mark perfectly.
Serving over 60 different credit unions in the Province of Saskatchewan, our Image Committee has a daunting task to provide solutions for urban and rural credit unions as well as large and small. Laura has consistently met these demands and as a system we enjoy exceptional brand awareness and ad recall.
In addition to working with our Committee, Laura has been responsible for rebranding numerous credit unions in Saskatchewan including our largest and most prominent credit union Conexus.
As a group we admire her cooperative nature, willingness to go the extra mile and obvious commitment to our success.
